I have had this bus since I was 18 and lived in it for 6 weeks while driving it round Europe. This is now it's 3rd restoration since I've owned it.
Custom built Type IV engine by Jake Raby, two stage boost controller that's activated with a switch. At the lowest setting it will only provide 6 PSI boost, on the higher setting it will run 12 PSI (will be up to 16PSI with charge cooler, Winter 2010). Ceramic coated pistons, valves and combustion chambers and a thermal dispersant coating to the exterior of the heads. Ceramic/stainless exhaust. Ram cool air feed system. Custom ali fuel tank.
Garrett turbo, SDS programmable EFI, trigger fire twin coiled ignition system.
Wide rear 255 tyres, on genuine Porsche 17" polished alloys, custom coil over rear spring arrangement, LSD, Weedeater beam, tubbed front aches/doors, 911 turbo front and rear servo assisted brakes.
